Under the patronage of Professor Dr. Essam Elkordi, the President of the University, and Professor Dr. Hisham Gaber, the Vice President of the Academic Affairs, and in line with the university’s commitment to support scientific and practical cooperation for the development of communication and exchange of experiences between the university, society, and industrial institutions, and to promote the utilization of various research outputs and the exchange of information and experiences in the field of advanced technology. It also aims to link academic study, scientific research, and academic courses with the industry using the latest distinguished technologies in the local, regional, and international job markets.

Based on the fruitful cooperation between the Armed Forces represented by the leadership of the Military Defense Forces and the Ministry of Higher Education, a scientific visit was organized for a delegation from the faculty of Engineering, led by Professor Dr. Remon Eskandar, Director of Engineering Programs, and a delegation from the faculty of Science, led by Professor Dr. Mohamed Salem Badawi, Director of Advanced Basic Sciences Program, to the third exhibition of defense industries (EDEX-2023). The delegation was received at the exhibition grounds in Nasr City, Cairo, on Thursday, December 7, 2023.

The visit included a special program, which consisted of a series of guided tours to various sections of the exhibition. The exhibition provides innovative solutions that equip students with 21st-century skills and qualify them for the local, regional, and international job markets. At the end of the meeting, a number of memorable photos were taken to capture the special and important event.
