Under the patronage of Professor Dr. Essam El kordi – President of Alamein International University, Professor Dr. Hesham Gaber – Vice President of the University for Academic Affairs, and under the supervision of Professor Dr. Safaa Abdel Salam – Dean of the College of Arts and Design, and within the framework of the workshop programs at the Faculty of Arts and Design at AIU, the college organized a workshop entitled (Digital Fabrication Techniques in Interior Architecture) delivered by Dr. Mohsen Mohamed Mardash – Lecturer in the Department of Architecture, Faculty of Fine Arts – Alexandria University on Wednesday, December 6, 2023. Within the framework of the college’s keenness to provide its students with practical experience in their field of specialization, the workshop began with a lecture explaining the various digital manufacturing techniques, followed by a visit to the carpentry workshop at the College of Engineering with a quick explanation of the workshop’s contents of 3D printing equipment and CNC laser cutting machines and their functions.
