Prof. Dr. Essam ElKordi, President of Alamein International University and Prof. Dr.Hisahm Gaber , Vice President of AIU for Academics welcomed Professor James Batchelor, Associate Dean International Research and Enterprise, Faculty of Medicine- University of Southampton , Associate Professor Ruihua Hou, Associate Dean International , Faculty of Medicine, University of Southampton and Professor Bashir A. Lwaleed, Senior Advisory MENA to the Vice President in presence of Prof .Dr .Moustafa AlNainay Dean of the Faculty of Computer Science and Engineering-AIU.
At the beginning of the meeting, Prof. Dr. ElKordi welcomed the delegation and introduced the University, Faculties, programs, the equipment and the services provided to the students, as well as partnerships concluded with major international universities. He also expressed his desire for cooperation in all fields between Alamein International University and the University of Southampton, and his desire to exchange experiences, professors and students.
For his part, Professor James Batchelor Associate Dean International Research and Enterprise, Faculty of Medicine- University of Southampton affirmed the keenness of Southampton University to cooperate with Alamein International University, in all fields.
During the delegation’s tour to visit the university’s buildings and laboratories, the delegation met Prof. Dr. Khadija Ismail, Dean of the Faculty of Pharmacy, the member of the delegation expressed their admiration for the capabilities and equipment available at the university, which keep pace with the latest international systems.
