Alamein International University joins the Times Higher Education Impact Ranking for the year 2024 becoming one of the newest universities in the world to be included in such Ranking.
Under the patronage of Professor Dr. Essam Elkordi – President of Alamein International University, Professor Dr. Hisham Gaber – Vice President for Academic Affairs, Alamein International University has officially been included in the Times Higher Education Impact Ranking for 2024, as one of the newest universities in the world to be listed in this ranking. The full results are set to be announced on June 12th.
This classification of impact assessment is based on an international approach to meeting present needs without compromising the ability of future generations through the philosophy of sustainability, which includes ensuring the rights and well-being of everyone on a healthy and thriving planet by adopting the Sustainable Development Plan for 2030 and the seventeen Sustainable Development Goals.
Sustainability is a strategic pillar for the International University of Al Alamein, which focuses on establishing partnerships for communication, collaboration, and capacity building with a wide range of local and international partners. The university’s inclusion in this category serves as a testament to the commitment of Alamein International University to sustainable development within and outside the campus.
The Times Higher Education Impact Ranking for this year includes 2,152 universities from 125 countries. The ranking utilizes carefully calibrated indicators to provide a comprehensive and balanced comparison across four broad areas: research, teaching, partnerships, and resource management.
