Signing a joint cooperation memorandum between Alamein International University (AIU) and the Institute of Management Accountants (IMA)

Under the patronage of Professor Dr. Essam Elkordi – President of Alamein International University, Professor Dr. Hisham Gaber – Vice President for Academic Affairs, Alamein International University, and as a step aimed at the enhancement of academic cooperation and international research, the joint memorandum was signed between Alamein International University (AIU), represented by Professor Dr. Essam Elkordi – President of Alamein International University (AIU), and the Institute of Management Accountants (IMA), in the presence of Professor Dr. Hisham Gaber – Vice President for Academic Affairs, Alamein International University, Professor Dr. Nashwa Shaker Ragab, Programs Director of the Faculty of Business, and Dr. Reda Adel Elazab Assistant Professor of Accounting and Auditing.

The memorandum of cooperation encompasses providing scholarships for students to obtain CMA and FMAA certificates. Faculty members are given the opportunity to participate in the institute’s research foundation, which aims to provide fund for innovative research in the field of accounting and financial management. In addition to organizing scientific conferences and seminars. The memorandum also aims to support professional and academic compatibility in accounting and financial management courses.
Professor Dr. Essam Elkordi welcomed the cooperation with the Institute of Management Accountants to enhance the professional level of students in the Accounting and Information Systems Program in the field of Business.

Mr. Ahmed Elsakhawi expressed his appreciation to Alamein International University, emphasizing his aspiration to enhance cooperation with the university.

The Institute of Management Accountants (IMA) is regarded as one of the largest entities in the world that works to promote the profession of management accountant.

It is regarded as the only entity that grants the Certified Management Accountant (CMA) certificate, which enables its holder to deal with the responsibilities of internal financial management, including planning, preparing budgets, analyzing decisions and managing risks.

This memorandum comes to support the university’s efforts to enhance international cooperation with major global institutions.
