Professor Dr. Rushdi Zahran, Chairman of the Board of Trustees of Alamein International University, and Professor Dr. Essam Elkordi, President of Alamein International University, and Professor Dr. Hesham Gaber, Vice President for Academic Affairs, Welcomed Dr. Abraham Hamer, Head of International Partnerships at International Leadership Institute affiliated with University of Missouri, USA, and Dr. Adel Sadek, CEO of the International Business Driving License “IBDL” Foundation. The meeting was also attended by Professor Dr. Yahya Abou Shadi, Dean of Faculty of Dentistry at AIU, and Dr. Maged Farouk, Advisor to the university President for Managerial and Information Systems.
The visit comes within the framework of exploring the ways of mutual cooperation between Alamein International University and International Leadership Institute affiliated with University of Missouri, USA, with the aim of creating joint professional and executive programs and certificates to prepare and qualify governmental leaders according to advanced professional standards in business management skills. It also aims to explore academic cooperation between Alamein International University and University of Missouri in educational programs of mutual interest within the strategic plan of the university in international partnerships in education, with the goal to create a new generation of young leaders with scientific foundations who will be able to assume specialized, administrative and leadership positions within the country. The attendees agreed to hold sessions within two weeks to develop the detailed and final vision of the proposed cooperation.
At the end of the meeting, Professor Dr. Essam Elkordi, the President of AIU, invited the guests to take a tour of the university to get familiar with the outstanding facilities and infrastructure of the university. At the end of the tour, the guests praised the scientific and technological capabilities available at the university.
