Professor Dr. Ayman Ashour, Minister of Higher Education and Scientific Research, received Professor Dr. Essam Elkordi, President of Alamein International University, and Professor Dr. Ayman El-Baz, Professor and Head of the Biomedical Engineering Department at the University of Louisville, USA, and a member of the Board of Trustees of Alamein International University.

During the meeting, discussions were held regarding the establishment of the National Biomedical Engineering Laboratory at Alamein International University, which will serve as a vital centre for developing artificial intelligence-based technologies aimed at enhancing healthcare in Egypt and creating employment opportunities for Egyptian graduates. Professor Dr. Ayman Ashour’s initiative in leading these Egyptian national laboratories was emphasized, as they are prepared to address prevalent challenges in Egypt and the Arab world. His continuous support for providing technological solutions and strategic resources to various educational institutions was also acknowledged.
