Prof. Dr. – Essam El kordi, President of AIU, received Mr. Ahmed Elsakhawy, the regional manager of IMA in Egypt, in the presence of Prof. Dr. Nashwa Shaker Ragab- Professor of Accounting and Programs Director of the Faculty of Business and Dr. Reda Elazab Assistant Professor of Accounting.

Prof. Dr. Essam Elkordi expressed his welcome for cooperation with the Institute of Management Accountants in order to enhance the professional level of students in the Accounting and Information Systems Program at the Faculty of Business.

On its behalf, Mr. Ahmed Al-Sakhawi expressed his appreciation to AIU, stressing his willingness to reinforce the cooperation with the university in the future.

IMA (Institute of Management Accountants) is one of the largest and most respected associations focused exclusively on advancing the management accounting profession.
IMA is the only organization to offer the CMA (Certified Management Accountant), which enables its holder to deal with critical internal financial management responsibilities, including planning, budgeting, decision analysis, and risk management.

Mr. Ahmed Al-Sakhawi met with students of the third and fourth levels of the Accounting and Information Systems program and presented the importance of the CMA and the procedures for obtaining it.

The visit supports the university’s endeavours to enhance cooperation with major international institutions.
