Alamein International University (AIU) receives a delegation from Royal College to discuss the opportunities of academic cooperation

Under the patronage of Prof. Dr. – Essam El kordi, President of AIU, Prof. Dr. Hesham Gaber, Vice President of AIU for Academic Affairs, received a delegation from the British Royal College University, as part of an official visit to the university today, held on Tuesday 26th Sep. 2023, in the presence of Prof. Dr. Yehia Abou Shadi – Dean of the College of Dentistry.

The delegation included Dr. Philip Taylor – former Dean of the Faculty of Dentistry and representative of the Royal College of Surgeons in Edinburgh in the United Kingdom, Mr. Marwa Abdel Azim – Director of Education Programs at the British Council, and Mr. Sama Sami – Coordinator of the Ministry of Higher Education and Scientific Research.

During the visit, the British delegation held a meeting with Prof. Dr. Hesham Gaber and Prof. Dr. Yehyia Abou Shadi, where the two parties discussed ways of cooperation between the two universities in a number of fields, including scientific research and joint programs.

Prof. Dr. Heham Gaber welcomed the delegation from Royal College London, stressing the importance of cooperation between Egyptian and British universities to enhance the quality of education in Egypt.

After the meeting, the delegation visited the modeling and simulation laboratories at the Faculty of Dentistry and the computer laboratories at the university. At the end of the visit, the delegation praised the level of equipment at the Faculty of Dentistry and AIU.

On its behalf, the British delegation expressed its appreciation to AIU, stressing its willingness to reinforce the cooperation with the university in the future.

The British Royal College University is deemed as one of the most prestigious universities in the world, and it is renowned for its distinguished academic programs in various fields.

The visit of the British delegation to AIU comes within the framework of the university’s endeavors to enhance cooperation with the major internationally-ranked universities.
