Prof. Essam Elkordi- President of Alamein International University, participated in the activities of the “Towards 2030: Climate Changes Solutions, Global Health and Egypt’s Development” conference, which is being held at Ain Shams University from December 27-29, 2022 and organized by the Association of Egyptian Scientists in USA and Canada.
About 25 senior Egyptian scholars in USA and Canada participated in the conference, under the auspices of Prof. Dr. Mohamed Ayman Ashour – Minister of Higher Education and Scientific Research and in the presence of Prof. Dr. Mahmoud El-Metini – President of Ain Shams University, Prof. Dr. Ayman El-Baz – Member of the Board of Trustees of Alamein International University, and Prof. Dr. Mohamed Atallah – Vice President of New York University and Vice President of the Association of Egyptian Scholars in USA and Canada and Chairman of the Conference.
The conference comes in light of Egypt’s interest to the issue of climate change, in light of the presidency and hosting of the Arab Republic of Egypt for the twenty-seventh edition of the Conference of the States Parties to the United Nations Agreement on Climate Change (COP-27) during November 2022.
