Prof. Dr. Essam Elkordy – President of Alamein International University (AIU) and Prof. Dr. Hesham Gaber- Vice President for Academic Affairs welcomed a delegation from Virginia Tech University, USA. The delegation included Dr. Don Hempson III – Associate Vice President for International Affairs, Virginia Tech University- USA , Dr. Khaled Hassouna – Associate Director of Middle East and North Africa Initiatives and Curricula Development- Virginia Tech University, Dr. Venkat Sridhar – Department of Biological Systems Engineering – Virginia Tech University in the presence of Prof. Dr. Gihan Gewaifel – Advisor to the President of the University for International Relations and Internationalization of Education and Director of the Public Health Program (AIU), Prof. Dr. Maged Farouk- Advisor for the President for Administrative and Informatics Affaris, Prof. Dr. Mustafa Al-Nainay – Dean of the Faculty of Computer Science and Engineering and Prof. Dr. Remon Iskandar – Director of Engineering Programs.
Dr. Essam Elkordi welcomed the delegation and explained Alamein International University (AIU), its faculties, programs, equipment and Student facilities, as well as the distinct international partnerships that AIU has concluded with highly ranked Universities. He also expressed his great delight in the cooperation with Virginia Tech University. Then, meetings were held between the two sides to discuss possible ways of collaboration in different fields.
For its part, the delegation praised the university and its programs which keep pace with the latest international technologies, and welcomed the exchange of experiences and knowledge with Alamein International University.
