Biography

Mohamed M.Abdul-Monem, is an Assistant Professor of Dental Biomaterials at Alamein International University and Alexandria University. Abdul-Monem obtained his PhD in Dental Biomaterials from the Faculty of Dentistry, Alexandria University in 2020. He did his PhD research on light-cured hydrogels for bone regeneration applications and was able to design a new biocompatible photoinitiating system with short curing time.

Abdul-Monem teaches Dental Biomaterials to undergraduates, postgraduates, and dental technicians. He is an e-learning TOT of learning management systems (LMS) at Alexandria University. He published several papers in national and international journals in the field of Dental Biomaterials. He is also a reviewer in several international dental and medical journals. Currently, he conducts research in the field of light-cured dental materials, digital dentistry, and tissue engineering.
