Biography

Dr. Ali M. AbdelAziz is a cybersecurity expert, researcher, and educator with a strong record of academic and professional achievements in cybersecurity, artificial intelligence, and the Internet of Things (IoT). He previously served as an Assistant Professor of Cybersecurity at Alamein International University (AIU).

Dr. AbdelAziz holds a Ph.D. and M.Sc. in Computer Science and Engineering from the Egypt-Japan University of Science and Technology (E-JUST) and a B.Sc. in Computer Engineering from Aswan University.

He is certified as a Threat Intelligence Analyst (CTIA) by EC-Council, an Offensive Security Certified Professional (OSCP), a Google Cybersecurity Professional, and an ISO 27001 Lead Implementer.

His research focuses on AI-driven vulnerability assessment, IoT security for smart systems, and transportation mode detection using ubiquitous devices.

With over eight years of experience teaching cybersecurity courses—including Secure Programming, Cryptography, and Cyber Forensics—across multiple universities, Dr. AbdelAziz has developed curricula aligned with ACM/IEEE standards and supervised more than ten M.Sc. theses in cybersecurity and AIoT.

He has conducted penetration testing for government agencies, contributing to their ISO 27001 certification, and has published research in reputable venues such as the IEEE Sensors Journal, as well as at SECON, MobiSys, and VTC conferences. His applied research includes developing real-time health monitoring systems using wearable technology, achieving latency of less than two seconds.
