Alamein International University (AIU) is opening a job opportunity for the following position:

  • International Relations and Global Engagement Specialist

Job Description:

  • Support the Director of the International Relations and Global Engagement Department  
  • Implement AIU strategy Internationalization pillar. 
  • Help in managing AIU international relationships.
  • Monitor and report on relevant global trends.
  • Communicating with overseas institutions 
  • Facilitate translation of relevant agreements and communications. 
  • Help organize international events.
  • Recruitment of international students
  • Advise, place, and follow up of exchange students 
  • Conduct Information Sessions and Event Programming
  • Provide general administrative support to the director 
  • Create and maintain an efficient filing and record-keeping system 
  • Perform other duties as required

Job Requirements

  • Bachelor’s degree, from an accredited university, graduation year 2008 or recent. Master’s degree is a plus 
  • Maximum age should be 38 years in 1/1/2024. 
  • Knowledge of international higher education systems, particularly American and European systems.
  • 10 years minimum relevant work experience. 
  • Knowledge of geopolitical issues, international relations, and overseas travel requirements  
  • Excellent command of English and Arabic, written and spoken (Voice recording with application is a must). With the ability to translate from English to Arabic and vice versa.
  • Familiarity with other languages is a plus, particularly, French, German, Spanish, and Chinese. 
  • Proficiency in MS Word, Excel, and PowerPoint. 
  • Excellent interpersonal, communication, and administration skills
  • Excellent time management skills and ability to multi-task and prioritize work.
  • Ability to handle multiple tasks simultaneously with prioritization. 
  • Ability to create sophisticated presentations. 
  • Integrity and professionalism.
  • Applicant must hold Egyptian citizenship.
