Alamein International University (AIU) is opening a job opportunity for the following position:

HR Specialist

Job Description:

  • Ensures the implementation of human resource policies, procedures, and government regulations throughout the University 
  • Create and publish job ads 
  • Screen resumes and job applications and create shortlists of qualified candidates.
  • Follow up with candidates throughout the hiring process
  • Maintain a database of potential candidates for future job openings
  • Assist with day-to-day operations of the HR functions and duties
  • Collect and update employee records (hard and soft copies)
  • Process documentation and prepare reports relating to personnel activities (staffing, recruitment, training, grievances, performance evaluations etc.)
  • Maintain records of personnel-related data (payroll, personal information, leaves, turnover rates, etc.) in both paper and the database and ensure all employment requirements are met
  • Remains current on best Human Resources practices through self-directed professional reading, developing professional contacts with colleagues, attending professional development courses, and attending training.
  • Perform other duties and responsibilities as assigned.

Job Requirements:

  • A Bachelor’s degree in Human Resource Management, Business Administration, Commerce, or a related field from an accredited university, or in the case of other Bachelor’s fields applicant must have a recognizable professional certificate or diploma in Human Resources.
  • At least 4 years of experience in human resources management. Experience in human resource management in higher education is preferred.
  • Maximum age should not exceed 28 years on 1/9/2024.
  • Familiarity with Egyptian labor and Social Security laws and regulations is a must.  
  • Experience in using ERP systems or automated HR management systems is a must.
  • Excellent command of English
  • Applicant must hold Egyptian citizenship. 

Assessment Method:

Short listed candidates will be invited for interview and exams.
