Environmental, Health& Safety Specialist
Job Description :
- Develop, implement, and maintain HSE policies, procedures, and programs.
- Ensure compliance with local, national, and international HSE regulations.
- Conduct regular risk assessments and safety audits.
- Identify potential hazards and develop mitigation strategies.
- Monitor and report on HSE performance and compliance.
- Conduct HSE training sessions for employees, contractors, and stakeholders.
- Promote a culture of safety and environmental responsibility.
- Lead investigations into accidents, incidents, and near misses.
- Develop corrective and preventive action plans.
- Perform regular site inspections to ensure compliance with HSE standards.
- Prepare detailed reports on inspection findings and follow-up actions.
- Maintain accurate and up-to-date HSE records and documentation.
- Prepare and submit regular HSE reports to management and regulatory bodies.
- Develop and implement emergency response plans and procedures.
- Coordinate emergency drills and exercises.
- Participate in HSE meetings and represent the organization in external forums.
- Perform other duties and responsibilities as assigned.
Job Requirements:
- A Bachelor’s degree in Engineering, Science, or a technical/scientific Bachelor’s related Bachelor’s field from an accredited university.
- 5+ years of experience in HSE roles, preferably in facility management
- Maximum age should not exceed 35 years in 1/1/2025.
- Professional certification in HSE (e.g., NEBOSH, IOSH, and OSHA) is preferred.
- Proven track record of managing HSE programs in universities, or related activities.
- Strong knowledge of HSE regulations, standards, and best practices.
- Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills.
- Effective communication and interpersonal skills
- Excellent command of English
- Applicant must hold Egyptian citizenship.
