Alamein International University (AIU) is opening a job opportunity for the following position:

  • Admission Specialist

Job Description:

  • Assist in formulating annual student recruitment plans, procedures, and schedules. 
  • Responsible for the day-to-day activities and management of the Recruitment, Admission, and Registration office. 
  • Responsible for the day-to-day activities of school/institution visits, open days, workshops, fairs, and exhibitions. 
  • Maintain students’ recruitment and activities records. 
  • Maintain and follow up scholarship and financial aid packages. 
  • Work with the Financial Department team and Funding institutions to ensure consistent messaging around financial aid and scholarship packaging. 
  • Meet with current students regarding financial aid and scholarship status. 
  • Calculate the different types of foreign certificates to equalize them to the Egyptian system. 
  • Audit students’ certificates and their attestations and official stamps. 
  • Orient newly admitted students with AIU regulations, culture, and policies. 
  • Register newly admitted students at the MoHE and SCU, private and national sectors. 
  • Liaise with AIU program coordinators, heads, and other relevant units to make decisions on applications. 
  • Send acceptance or rejection letters.
  • Perform other duties as required.

Job Requirements

  • Relevant bachelor’s degree from an accredited 4 years institution. With a minimum grade of “Good”. 
  • 5 years minimum proven relevant work experience.
  • Maximum age: 35 years in 1/12/2024.
  • Experience with Admission requirements in compliance with the Ministry of Higher Education and the Supreme Council of Universities, Private and national Sector.
  • Able to produce statistical reports. 
  • Applicant must hold Egyptian citizenship. 
  • Knowledge of Student Information Systems.
  • Computer and software skills including MS Office applications.
  • Excellent command of English and Arabic, written and spoken (Voice recording with application is a must).
  • Excellent interpersonal, communication, and administration skills
  • Excellent time management skills and ability to multi-task and prioritize work.
  • Ability to handle multiple tasks simultaneously with prioritization. 

Assessment Method:

Short-listed candidates will be invited for interviews and exams.
