Alamein International University (AIU) is opening a job opportunity for the following position:

  • Physician/Clinic Supervisor

Job Description:

  • Diagnosing diseases, illnesses, injuries, and conditions for AIU students and Staff 
  • Prescribing therapies and medicines when needed
  • Recommend lab analysis and x-rays and interpret laboratory results, x-rays, and other diagnostic reports.
  • Referring patients for specialized care
  • Deal with medical emergencies
  • Provide medical advice
  • Advocate for the health and well-being of AIU 
  • Maintaining Clinic visits and treatment records 
  • Manage daily activities and operations of the AIU clinic
  • Supervise other AIU clinic staff 
  • Perform other duties as required

Job Requirements

  • Bachelor’s degree in General Medicine and Surgery, from an accredited university
  • Graduate Studies in Medicine or Management is a plus 
  • General Medical Practice and Family/Internal Medicine for at least 8 years 
  • Critical Care experience for at least 4 years  
  • Experience/training in managing emergencies and infections.  
  • Managerial or supervisory experience of at least 3 years 
  • Maximum age should be 40 years on 1/7/2024. 
  • Excellent command of English, knowledge of additional languages is a plus
  • Proficiency in MS Word, Excel, and PowerPoint. 
  • Excellent interpersonal, communication, and administration skills
  • Excellent time management skills and ability to multi-task and prioritize work.
  • Integrity and professionalism.
  • Applicant must hold Egyptian Citizenship. 
  • Short-listed applicants who are affiliated with governmental ministries/entities will be asked to submit a “No objection letter” signed and stamped by the central authority in the ministry within a maximum 3 weeks of requesting the letter. Note that letters issued from local or sub-units will not be accepted. 

Assessment Method:

Shortlisted candidates will be invited for interviews and exams.
