Signing of a partnership agreement between Alamein International University and Temple University of the United States. As a culmination of the ongoing efforts of Professor Dr. Khaled Abdel Ghaffar, Minister of Higher Education and Scientific Research, to partner with the best universities in the world, Prof.Dr. Essam ElKordi, President of Alamein International University, signed a joint cooperation agreement with Dr. Gregory Mandel, Academic President of Temple University in Philadelphia, in the presence of Prof.Dr. Roushdy Zahran, Chairman of the University’s Board of Trustees. Under this agreement, programs will be established and joint and double degrees between the two universities will be granted, especially in Pharmacy, Public Health and Dental programs. The agreement also included student and faculty exchanges between the two universities, joint research, student and cultural activities, and the organization of scientific conferences.The Agreement has been signed in the presence of Dr. Ali Massoud, Cultural Advisor and director of the Egyptian Office of Cultural and Educational Relations in Washington, and Dr. Shahenda Ezzat, Cultural Attaché in Washington, where the office arranged all the discussions that preceded the signing.The meeting was attended by Dr. Hay Lung Dew, Vice President of the University for International Relations, Dr. Amed Ismail, Dean of the Faculty of Dentistry, Dr. Jayne Panyam, Dean of the Faculty of Pharmacy, Dr. Hugh Nami, Dean of the Faculty of Public Health, Dr. Marilyn Gosek, Associate Dean of Education, Faculty of Medicine, Dr. Majid Abu Ghariba, Professor of Pharmaceutical Sciences, Temple University, Ms. Erica Clemons, and Mr. Martin Miller, Assistant Vice-Chancellor of the University for International Relations.
