Alamein International University Welcomes a Delegation from James Madison University to Strengthen Academic Cooperation

Under the patronage of Prof. Essam Elkordi, President of Alamein International University, and Prof. Hesham Gaber, Vice President for Academic Affairs, Prof. Mostafa Elnainay, Dean of the Faculty of Computer Science and Engineering, welcomed a delegation from the Department of Computer Science at James Madison University (JMU), USA. The visiting delegation included students from JMU accompanied by Prof. Sami Al-Tawab, Director of the Information Technology Program at JMU’s Department of Computer Science, and Dr. Ahmed Salman, Associate Professor at JMU.

The week-long visit features joint participation between students from the Faculty of Computer Science and Engineering at Alamein International University (AIU) and their counterparts from James Madison University in a series of collaborative research and applied projects. These projects are supervised by Prof. Mohamed Abdelrahman, faculty member at AIU, and are designed to enhance students’ practical skills and foster an interactive learning environment that encourages the development of innovative solutions to diverse technological challenges. The visit will be followed by a summer internship opportunity for five AIU students at James Madison University.

This initiative aligns with Alamein International University’s strategic vision to enhance academic collaboration and joint training with leading global universities, providing its students with distinguished international experiences that prepare them to compete in both local and global job markets.
