Professor Dr. Essam Elkordi, President of Alamein International University, participated in the 57th General Conference of the Association of Arab Universities, held on April 23–24, 2025, at the International University for Science and Technology in Kuwait. The conference was convened under the theme “Arab Higher Education in the Era of Digital Transformation and Regional Integration.”
Dr. Elkordi joined a high-level Egyptian academic delegation led by H.E. Professor Dr. Mohamed Ayman Ashour, Minister of Higher Education and Scientific Research, alongside a distinguished group of university presidents from Egypt and the Arab world, as well as experts in higher education from various countries.
The conference addressed strategies for advancing Arab higher education through digital transformation and the integration of academic systems. It also showcased successful models of regional academic cooperation, including the Egyptian Knowledge Bank, which was presented as a pioneering regional initiative for inclusive knowledge access and support for scientific research.
Alamein International University’s participation in this significant regional event underscores its commitment to strengthening Arab academic collaboration and expanding its presence in international academic forums.
