President of Alamein International University Participates in QS Higher Ed Summit in Kuwait

Professor Essam Elkordi, President of Alamein International University, took part in the QS Higher Ed Summit: Middle East 2025, hosted by the Gulf University for Science and Technology in Kuwait. The summit was organized by QS, the global leader in higher education rankings and analytics.

The event drew a wide range of academic leaders from across the Arab world, including Dr. Amr Ezzat Salama, Secretary-General of the Association of Arab Universities, as well as representatives from ministries of higher education, university presidents, and international experts in higher education development.

Panel discussions addressed the role of universities in shaping Society 5.0, a human-centered approach to technological transformation that promotes critical thinking, innovation, and sustainability. The sessions also highlighted pioneering experiences in digital transformation, linking education to the job market, and expanding international academic partnerships.

Professor Elkordi’s participation reflects Egypt’s strong academic presence at the summit. The event concluded with a keynote speech by Dr. Mohamed Ayman Ashour, Egypt’s Minister of Higher Education and Scientific Research, who showcased the achievements of Egyptian universities and emphasized their regional role in fostering Arab knowledge integration.
