AIU Students Participate in Advanced Architectural Symposium at New Alamein City Authority

In order to provide the opportunity for Alamein International University to participate in the distinguished events that distinguish it in the labor market and expand its scope and skills, under the auspices of Prof. Dr. Essam Elkordi, President of the University, Prof. Dr. Hesham Gaber, Vice President for Academic Affairs, and Prof. Dr. Remon Iskandar, Director of Academic Engineering Programs, students of the Digital Architecture Program at the University, led by Dr. Amr Mamdouh and Eng. Alia Abdel Salam, participated in the advanced symposium held at the headquarters of the New Alamein City Authority, where Mr. Eng. Mohamed Khalil, Vice President of the New Alamein City Authority, welcomed the attendees, then the international architectural presentation by Walid Arafa, details of his latest project “Beit Misr in Paris”, then an open discussion took place with the attendees, which increases the momentum and the famous rally.

The symposium was also attended by the members of the Engineers Syndicate’s Board of Directors, the members of the Syndicate’s Architecture Division Council, and a large group of architects, members of the Egyptian Engineers Syndicate, NFC, and students of the architectural departments at Alexandria University and the Arab Academy for Science and Technology. This symposium was the result of fruitful and effective discussions between the International University of Alexandria, the New Alamein Free City Authority, the Egyptian Engineers Syndicate, the Arab Academy for Science and Technology, and the Architectural Engineers Association. Our students expressed their enjoyment in attending such an important and interesting event, and stated that this symposium has increased their enthusiasm for learning and developing them to compete locally and globally, and they expressed their gratitude for the university administration’s support for them in additional extracurricular activities such as moving to participate in seminars, skills, and others.
