AIU meeting with Industry Representatives

Under the patronage of Professor Dr. Essam Elkordi – President of Alamein International University, and Under the supervision of Professor Dr. Hisham Gaber – Vice President for Academic Affairs, and in line with the university’s keenness to strengthen relationships and form partnerships with prestigious industrial institutions and effectively integrate industry with academic programs at the university; the directors of sectors at the Egyptian Ethylene and its Derivatives Company “Ethydco” were hosted on July 8, 2024, to hold dialogues to formulate the terms of the intended joint cooperation agreement between the company and the university. The session was led by Mr. Dr. Hisham Gaber – Vice President for Academic Affairs, in the presence of university representatives, including Dr. Mohamed Hajjar – Industry Cooperation Officer at the university, Dr. Remon Eskandar – Director of Engineering Programs, Dr. Mohamed Salem – Director of Advanced Science Programs, Dr. Nashwa Shaker – Director of Business Management Programs, and Dr. Amr Mamdouh – Member of the Industry Cooperation Committee at the university.

The representatives of Ethydco expressed their admiration for the alignment of the vision and directions of the University of Alamein International University with international standards for cooperation with the industry in scientific research areas related to solving various industrial problems, providing academic consultancy to industry workers including Master’s and Ph.D. students, and training university students with the help of various industry partners. They also expressed their amazement at the university’s commitment to providing the latest educational equipment that connects students to the industry in a greater way and qualifies them for the local and international job market. They pointed out that the devices and equipment in the workshops and labs sometimes match or even surpass those found in major international universities, which poses a strong and effective international competitive element in favor of Alamein International University.
