Dr. Essam Elkordi, President of Alamein International University, and Dr. Hisham Gaber, Vice President for Academic Affairs, welcomed the team of the “Pioneers and Scholars of Egypt” program, represented by Dr. Amal Mawafi, Director of the program, Dr. Dina Wafa, Deputy Director of the program, and Ms. Leila Allawandi, Grants Manager of the program.

The visit comes within the framework of the ongoing and fruitful cooperation between Alamein International University and the American University in Cairo, aimed at building a more inclusive, capable, and skilled workforce to support vital sectors for economic growth in Egypt. This is achieved through offering scholarships and training for Egyptian students, researchers, and future leaders, with a focus on sectors that can contribute to achieving Egypt’s climate goals.
