Within the framework of the cooperation protocol between Alamein International University (AIU) and the Information Technology Institute at the Ministry of Communications (ITI), and under the patronage of Professor Dr. Essam El kordi – President of AIU and Professor Dr. Hesham Gaber – Vice President of the University for Academic Affairs, the university was honored to hold celebratory events honoring the students of AIU (Faculty of Computer Science and Engineering, Faculty of Engineering, and Faculty of Business) who successfully completed their training at the Information Technology Institute of the Ministry of Communications in the fields of programming in the JAVA language, marketing on social media networks, Internet of Things programming (IoT programming), and network security.
Professor Dr. Essam El kordi handed over the certificates to the students in the presence of Professor Dr. Mostafa El Naninay – Dean of the College of Computer Science and Engineering, Professor Dr. Remon Eskander – Program Director of the College of Engineering, Professor Dr. Nashwa Shaker – Program Director of the College of Business, and Dr. Islam El Jeddawi – General Supervisor For field training at the university, and also in the presence of the representatives of the Information Technology Institute at the Ministry of Communications – Alexandria Branch: Eng. Mohammed Barghash – Director of the Institute, Eng. Doaa Suleiman – Director of Intensive Training, Eng. Mahmoud Aouf – Director of Training, Eng. Mohammed Hanafi – Vice President of the Institute for Quality, Eng. Iman Bandari – Vice President of the Institute, and Dr. Iman Hisham – Director Executive JETS. The celebration was attended by Dr. Eslam El-Qabbani, Dr. Reda Al-Azab, Dr. Laila Shukri, members of the academic staff, and students from various colleges of the university.
The students who won the first three places out of thirteen teams were also honored in the first round of (Alamein Smart Hackathon), which was held in the heart of the new city of Alamein from October 26 to November 2, 2023 and hosted by AIU.
At the end of the celebration, Eng. Mohammed Barghash, Director of the Institute, thanked and appreciated Professor Dr. Essam El kordi, President of the University, for the fruitful cooperation between the two institutions, wishing the university further progress and prosperity.
