Prof. Dr. Essam Elkordi- President of Alamein International University, and Prof. Dr. Hesham Gaber- Vice President for Academic Affairs, received a high-level delegation of ambassadors from South American countries on Saturday, June 17th, 2023.
The delegation included ambassadors from Guatemala, Panama, Venezuela, Uruguay, Chile, Ecuador, Cuba, Paraguay, Bolivia, and the Dominican Republic, accompanying His Excellency Dr. Hazem Fahmy- Assistant Foreign Minister for American Affairs. The deans of the faculties and program directors were also in attendance.
During the meeting, the university, its faculties, programs, and distinguished international partnerships were introduced, as well as all the services provided by the university to its students, through a presentation given by Prof. Dr. Mustafa ElNainay- Dean of the Faculty of Computer Sciences and Engineering.
Prof Dr. Essam Elkordi emphasized, in a speech to the guests, Alamein International University’s commitment to providing world-class education that equips students with the knowledge, skills, and values necessary for success in the twenty-first century, using modern technologies and advanced facilities, as well as innovative teaching methods that create a unique learning environment that promotes creativity, critical thinking, and collaboration. He also expressed the university’s aspirations to cooperate and partner with universities in South American countries.
For his part, Prof. Dr. Hesham Gaber pointed out that the university’s strategy is based on the fact that Alamein International University is a fourth-generation smart university centered around students with the aim of providing distinguished educational services. One of the pillars of the university’s strategic plan is internationalization and international relations in all the university’s activities and goals, including education, scientific research, innovation, and entrepreneurship.
After the meeting, the guests were taken on a tour of the university’s faculties, including computer science and engineering, arts and design, engineering, dentistry, and pharmacy, as well as a visit to the AIU scientific research complex and innovation club.
The guests praised the university and its advanced capabilities, confirming its alignment with the latest global systems. They also expressed their readiness to establish communication channels to follow up on discussions regarding future cooperation.
