AIU signs a cooperation protocol with Mahfouz Pharmacies Group

In the presence of Prof. Dr. Essam Elkordy- President of Alamain International University, Dr. Mohamed Mahfouz- Chairman of the Board of Directors of the Mahfouz Pharmacies Group, and Prof. Dr. Khadiga Ismail- Dean of the Faculty of Pharmacy, Alamain International University signed a cooperation protocol with Mahfouz Pharmacies Group on Tuesday, June 13, 2023.

The protocol includes providing training for pharmacy students to develop their skills and knowledge in the field of pharmacy, in order to achieve the faculty’s strategic vision in meeting the needs of the job market. The protocol includes a number of joint activities between the two sides, such as training, courses, seminars, workshops and conferences, with the aim of expanding the cooperation base,
enriching scientific research and student training.

This cooperation comes as part of Alamain International University’s keenness to prepare qualified pharmacists with the latest pharmaceutical concepts and therapeutic care, contributing to raising the efficiency of the pharmaceutical care system at the local and regional levels, in addition to expanding the base of scientific and cultural cooperation and achieving mutual benefits in the fields of training and scientific research, and organizing joint activities that enhance students interaction with the pharmaceutical industry and develop their practical and applied skills.

This agreement is an important step towards developing the quality of pharmaceutical education and activating the role of pharmacies in improving healthcare, as well as contributing to the faculty’s vision of providing advanced educational programs according to the needs of the job market, and meeting the community’s needs and contributing to raising the efficiency of the pharmaceutical care system.
