Under the auspices of Prof. Dr. Essam Elkordi- President of Alamein International University (AIU), and Prof. Dr. Hesham Gaber- Vice President for Academic Affairs, the Faculty of Business organized a visit to the Egyptian Stock Exchange in Cairo. This visit is considered as part of the learning objectives of the educational programs at the faculty.
The visit was started with a session about the history of the Egyptian Stock Exchange since its inception till now in addition to trading techniques in the primary and secondary market, as well as the rules for listing in various indices, and a detailed explanation of how to invest in securities whether through brokerage firms or through investment funds in banks. The session included intensive discussions between the students followed by a visit to the trading hall.
