Prof. Dr. Ayman Al-Baz – Member of the Board of Trustees of AIU received the title of Fellowship of the Biomedical Engineering Society (BMES)

The family of Alamein International University (AIU) headed by Prof. Dr. Essam Elkordi- President of the University extends their sincere congratulations to Prof. Dr. Ayman Al-Baz – Member of the Board of Trustees of Alamein International University and Head of the Department of Bioengineering – University of Louisville, USA on the occasion of receiving the title of Fellowship of the Biomedical Engineering Society (BMES) as the first Egyptian and Arab scientist receives a fellowship from the Society in Egypt and the Middle East during a special event held by the Society as part of the activities of its annual meeting which was held this year in Texas, USA.
Founded in 1968, the Biomedical Engineering Society (BMES) is the professional association of students, Staff members, researchers and industry professionals in the field of biomedical engineering globally.

It is worth mentioning that there is a strategic partnership between Alamein International University (AIU) and the University of Louisville, USA for a dual degree program in Bioengineering and another in Computer Science and Engineering that allows AIU students to obtain a dual degree: BA from University of Louisville, USA and another BA from Alamein International University (AIU).
