Under the patronage of Prof. Dr. Essam Elkordi- President of Alamein International University (AIU), Prof. Dr. Hisham Gaber, Vice-President for Academic Affairs, AIU organised the “Second Open Day” for high school students and equivalent certificates, accompanied by their parents, to introduce them to the academic programs offered at the university and the scientific disciplines in all faculties. In the presence of Prof. Dr. Safaa Abdel Salam, Dean of the Faculty of Arts and Design and the supervisor of equipping AIU buildings; Prof. Dr. Mustafa ElNainay, Dean of the Faculty of Computer Sciences and Engineering, Prof. Dr. Nashwa Shaker- Director of Business Programs and the organizer of the open day, Prof. Dr. Gihan Gewaifel- Advisor of president for Global engagement and internationalization of education and Director of the Public Health Program, Prof. Dr. Alaa Aboul Fotouh- Representative of the Faculty of Pharmacy, Prof. Dr. Remon Eskander, Director of Programs at the Faculty of Engineering and Dr. Maha Abu al-Khair, Representative of the Faculty of Dentistry who gave presentations on the various programs offered by AIU.
Videos of university life and university housing were also shown. Then, the discussion was opened to answer all inquiries related to admission and registration. This was followed by a tour of the university to learn about AIU facilities , laboratories, and classrooms in all faculties. The activities of the open day witnessed a great turnout and a wide interaction from students and parents to learn about the university and its academic programs, partnerships with international universities and the high-level technological capabilities and equipment used by AIU in education. The attendees praised the rapid development of the university’s buildings and its high-level capabilities.
