The activation of the Memorandum of Agreement for credit articulation between Alamein International University and West Virginia University

The activation of the Memorandum of Agreement was signed, on Tuesday 19/7/2022, between Alamein International University (AIU), represented by Prof. Dr. Essam ElKordi, President of the University, and West Virginia University- USA (WVU) represented by Prof.Dr. Gordon Gee, President of the University. The agreement was signed at West Virginia University, in presence of Prof. Dr. Ali Massoud – Cultural Attache at the Embassy of the Arab Republic of Egypt in the United States of America, Prof.Dr. Paul Kreider-Vice Provost, Prof.Dr. Amber Brugnoli-Associate vice President , Prof.Dr.David Stewart – Associate Provost for International Relations and Mr.Hank Oliver, Director for Advancement. Prof. Dr. Essam ElKordi gave a presentation of the university, its fields, programs, buildings, equipment and services provided to its students and various collaborative agreements between Alamein International University and international universities. He also presented the university’s plan concerning the international cooperation with the International University regarding the exchange of professors, students and earning dual degrees from the two universities.From his part, Prof. Dr. Gordon Gee praised AIU, and its collaborative agreements with prestigious international universities and welcomed the exchange of experiences and knowledge.The agreement includes cooperation between the two sides to enhance academic cooperation, granting dual degrees in the fields of: – Accounting, Supply Chains and Management Information System. – Cyber Security.- Interior and Graphics.The study will start with these programs in September 2022- the academic year 2022-2023The signing of the agreement comes as a result of the discussions that took place between the two universities during the visit of Prof. Dr. Essam ElKordi, the President of AIU to the United States of America in February 2022, as well as the negotiations that took place during the visit of Prof.Dr.David Stewart – Associate Provost for International Relations WVU to AIU in March 2022.
