International University welcomed during the period 18th of May to 6th of June the delegate of the American Fulbright Commission, Dr. Mohamed Abdel-Maksoud, the lecturer at Harvard University and an expert specialized in developing university education in the field of dentistry, to contribute in the review and development of the undergraduate dental program -bachelor- at the university. The visit program included a review of the program’s courses, the study map, and the contents of the courses according to the latest global trends in the field of dental study. A guide to laboratories and clinics for the dental program was also developed and with reference to the dental program at Harvard University in the United States. Students were also informed of the latest global trends in the field of dentistry. working to open a scientific, research and academic channel between faculty members and students at Alamein International University and Harvard University. The visit was arranged by Dr. Yehya Abu Shadi, Dean of the Faculty, where several meetings were held with the faculty members of the medical sector at the university, the Director of the Quality Assurance Center and the Director of the Measurement and Evaluation Center to present his experiences in this field and to introduce the model of the Faculty of Dentistry at Harvard University. The visit was successful l. Where His Excellency commended the wonderful effort made by the faculty members to make the mission successful , and the tasks of His Excellency were completed by achieving the goal of the visit in full, and joint research has been started between the two parties, provided that this extends to opening a scientific channel between the two universities.
