Prof. Dr. Essam El Kordi, President of Alamein International University, attended the Fourteenth Meeting of the Quality Assurance and Accreditation Council, under the umbrella of the Association of Arab Universities. The meeting was held at Sadat University headquarters, headed by Prof. Dr. Amr Ezzat Salama, Secretary-General of the Association of Arab Universities, and in the presence of Prof. Dr. Ahmed Mohamed Bayoumi, President of Sadat City University, as well as Council members via the Internet. The meeting addressed some of the problems encountered by some Arab Universities in adopting distance education to improve quality, in light of the Corona pandemic, suggested solutions and making use of the opportunities offered to achieve the desired goals.
EL Kordi also participated in the second Quality Conference organized by the Association of Arab Quality Assurance Centers at Sadat City University headquarters, in cooperation with the Association of Arab Universities, headed by Prof. Dr. Amr Ezzat Salama, Secretary-General of the Association. The Conference was attended by members from Egypt, Lebanon and Yemen, with the participation of the remaining Council members virtually, to discuss the Association’s role in developing and improving Arab Universities’ classification.
