Biography

Ms. Mariam Gerges, a Teaching Assistant of Chemistry at the Faculty of Advanced Basic Sciences, Alamein International University – New Alamein, Egypt since 01/09/2025. She earned her B.Sc. in Chemistry with excellent degree in 2022 and currently pursuing her M.Sc. in Organic Chemistry at Wastewater treatment using novel polymeric compounds, Faculty of Science, Alexandria University, Egypt.
Ms. Mariam gained technical experience as Stability & Validation Chemist. Experienced in stability analysis using HPLC, validation protocol creation, and regulatory file preparation. Skilled in GMP/GLP compliance, microbiological testing (TAMC, TYMC, pathogen detection), growth promotion tests, and standardization of working standards. Proficient in developing SOPs, conducting media validation studies, and ensuring adherence to pharmacopeial and EDA guidelines.

Her research journey has started in 2022 during her graduation project that was a paper published in crystals journal “2-pyridinyl-terminated iminobenzoate: type and orientation of mesogenic core effect, geometrical dft investigation”.
Ms. Mariam has published five research papers in fields including liquid crystals, photochromic compounds, and DFT studies, with an H-index of 3 and 21 citations and has presented her work at the 9th & 10th students conference for Research and Innovations.
