Biography
Hagar El-Hamdouny is a Teaching Assistant of Chemistry currently pursuing her M.Sc. in Chemistry at the Faculty of Science, Alexandria University She earned her B.Sc. in Chemistry (Special Degree) at the Faculty of Science, Alexandria University, in 2022, graduating with (Excellent with Honors degree) and ranking among the top 10 students of her class.
Hagar gained technical experience as a Quality Control Chemist in the agrochemical industry, where she was designated as Quality Manager Personnel under the ISO/IEC 17025 scope. She has working knowledge of ISO 9001:2015 (QMS), ISO 14001:2015 (EMS), and ISO 45001:2018 (OHSMS), and expertise in advanced analytical techniques including HPLC-DAD, GC-FID, UV-VIS Spectrophotometer, Flame Photometer, and Kjeldahl Apparatus. Her responsibilities included method development and validation, uncertainty calculation, quality control charting, internal audits, and proficiency testing. She also worked as a Chemist at Inspection and Testing Company, where she conducted gravimetric and volumetric analysis in the Wet Chemistry Lab, as well as proximate and ultimate analysis in the Coal Lab using instruments such as the Bomb Calorimeter, Elemental Analyzer, Sulfur Analyzer & Muffle Furnace.
