Biography

Dr. Mohamed Nabil Abd Al Moaty, Associate Professor of Organic Chemistry. Completed his Ph.D. in Organic Chemistry in 2016 at the Faculty of Science, Alexandria University.

His research interests include the design and synthesis of biologically active compounds, such as nucleosides and heterocyclic compounds, with a wide range of biological effects. With over 185 citations and an H-index of 7, Dr. Abd Al Moaty has made significant contributions to the scientific community, publishing more than 15 articles in highly ranked international journals. His research involves the synthesis, characterization, and spectral studies of organic compounds, utilizing advanced instruments such as NMR, HPLC, FTIR, and polarimeters. He has also supervised several M.Sc. and Ph.D. theses within the Faculty of Science at Alexandria University.

He is an associate editor for the Alexandria Journal of Science and Technology (AJST) as well as a reviewer for journals such as, Journal of Heterocyclic Chemistry, Chemistry Select and Chemistry and Biodiversity.
