Professor Dr. Essam Elkordi, President of Alamein International University, participated in the Second Arab–Indian University Presidents’ Summit, organized by the Association of Arab Universities in cooperation with the Ministries of Higher Education and Foreign Affairs of the Republic of India, and graciously hosted by Ajman University in the United Arab Emirates, from 11 to 12 February 2026.
This participation reflects Alamein International University’s commitment to strengthening its global presence and expanding its network of academic and research partnerships. The summit served as a high level strategic platform aimed at advancing scientific and academic cooperation between Arab universities and their counterparts in the Republic of India, in light of the growing global trend toward the internationalization of higher education.
The summit witnessed broad participation from leading universities and educational institutions and addressed several key themes, including the development of strategic partnerships in scientific research, innovation, and joint academic programs, as well as the exchange of institutional expertise and best practices in university governance and international ranking standards. Discussions also focused on enhancing academic mobility through student and faculty exchange programs and funded research projects, in addition to exploring the future of education in the context of digital transformation and artificial intelligence technologies.
This engagement further underscores Alamein International University’s dedication to supporting international academic cooperation and embracing distinguished global experiences, contributing to the continuous advancement of its educational and research systems and reinforcing its position at both the regional and international levels.
