Physician

Job Information:

  • Job Title: Physician
  • Job Location: Alamein International University, New Alamein City, Matrouh Governate 
  • Job Nature: Full-time.
  • Working Hours: 9am-4pm, Sunday to Thursday  
  • Contract Duration: one year contract, renewable based on performance evaluation and university needs.  

Duties and Responsibilities:

  • Diagnosing diseases, illnesses, injuries, and conditions for AIU students and Staff
  • Prescribing therapies and medicines when needed
  • Recommend lab analysis and x-rays and interpreting laboratory results, x-rays and other diagnostic reports.
  • Referring patients for specialized care
  • Deal with medical emergencies
  • Provide medical advice
  • Advocate for the health and well-being in AIU
  • Maintaining Clinic visits and treatment records
  • Manage daily activities and operations of AIU clinic
  • Perform other duties as required 

Minimum Job Requirements:

  • Bachelor’s degree in General Medicine and Surgery, from an accredited university
  • Graduate Studies in Medicine or Management is a plus
  • General Medical Practice and Family/Internal Medicine for at least 5 years
  • Critical Care experience is a plus
  • Experience/training in managing emergencies and infections is a plus.  
  • Managerial or supervisory experience is a plus. 
  • Maximum age should be 45 years in 1/4/2026.
  • Excellent command of English, knowledge of additional languages is a plus
  • Proficiency in MS Word, Excel, and Power Point.
  • Excellent interpersonal, communication and administration skills
  • Excellent time management skills and ability to multi-task and prioritize work.
  • Integrity and professionalism.
  • Applicant must hold Egyptian Citizenship.
  • Short listed applicants who are affiliated with governmental ministries/entities will be asked to submit “No objection letter” signed and stamped from the central authority in the ministry within maximum 3 weeks of requesting the letter. Note that letters issued from local or sub-units will not be accepted.

Assessment Method:

Short listed candidates will be invited for interview and exams.
