– International Regulatory Frameworks: Understanding the standards and guidelines of leading U.S. agencies such as United States Environmental Protection Agency, U.S. Food and Drug Administration, and United States Department of Agriculture, as well as international organizations including Organisation for Economic Co-operation and Development, World Health Organization, International Agency for Research on Cancer, European Food Safety Authority, and Codex Alimentarius Commission.

– Practical Applications and Case Studies: Covering chemical and microbial risk assessment, pesticides, food safety, and ecosystem protection.

Risk Communication Skills Boot Camp:

The workshop also features an interactive training module using simulations and real-life scenarios to help participants become confident and effective communicators. You will learn how to:

– Clearly communicate scientific uncertainty with transparency.
