Human Resources Generalist
Job Information:
- Job Title: Human Resources Generalist
- Job Location: Alamein International University, New Alamein City, Matrouh Governate
- Job Nature: Full-time.
- Working Hours: 9 am – 4 pm
- Contract Duration: one year contract, renewable based on performance evaluation and university needs.
Job Description:
- Ensures the implementation of human resource policies, procedures, and government regulations throughout the University
- Create and publish job ads
- Screen resumes and job applications and create shortlists of qualified candidates.
- Follow up with candidates throughout the hiring process
- Maintain a database of potential candidates for future job openings
- Assist with day-to-day operations of the HR functions and duties
- Collect and update employee records (hard and soft copies)
- Process documentation and prepare reports relating to personnel activities (staffing, recruitment, training, grievances, performance evaluations etc.)
- Maintain records of personnel-related data (payroll, personal information, leaves, turnover rates etc.) in both paper and the database and ensure all employment requirements are met
- Remains current on best Human Resources practices through self-directed professional reading, developing professional contacts with colleagues, attending professional development courses, and attending training.
- Perform other duties and responsibilities as assigned.
Job Requirements:
- A Bachelor’s degree in Human Resource Management, Business Administration, Commerce, or a related field from an accredited university, or in the case of other Bachelor’s fields, the applicant must have a recognizable professional certificate or diploma in Human Resources.
- At least 2 years of experience in human resources. Experience in human resource management in higher education institutions is preferred.
- Maximum age should not exceed 28 years on 1/7/2026.
- Familiarity with Egyptian labour and Social Security laws and regulations is a must.
- Experience in using ERP systems or automated HR management systems is a must.
- Excellent command of English
- Applicant must hold Egyptian citizenship.
Assessment Method:
Short listed candidates will be invited for interview and computer and English exams.
