Under the patronage of Professor Dr. Essam Elkordi, President of Alamein International University, and Professor Dr. Hesham Gaber, Vice President for Academic Affairs, and under the supervision of Professor Dr. Mohamed Salem Badawy, Program Director at the Faculty of Science, and Associate Professor Dr. Mohamed Nabil, the Faculty of Science organized an educational visit to the Egy Beauty Africa 2026 exhibition, held at the Egypt International Exhibition Center in Cairo.
The visit included students from the Industrial Chemistry Department in their second and third years, as part of the Faculty’s commitment to strengthening the practical dimension of education and linking theoretical study with modern industrial applications.
The students were accompanied by Eng. Manar Hamdy, Eng. Hager Ahmed, and Eng. Mariam Girgis, Teaching Assistants at the Faculty of Science, along with Ms. Aya Saad.
During the visit, students explored the latest advancements in chemical industries related to cosmetics and personal care products, including product formulations, modern manufacturing technologies, and quality and safety standards. They also gained valuable insights into the vital role of industrial chemistry in the development of these products.
The visit further provided students with a valuable opportunity to engage directly with participating companies, and to explore available training and employment opportunities, supporting their readiness and preparation for the labor market.
Students expressed their strong appreciation for the visit, highlighting the significant knowledge and practical understanding they gained in relation to their field of study.
This visit comes within the framework of Alamein International University’s strategy to promote applied education and provide distinguished field experiences that contribute to preparing qualified graduates capable of competing effectively in the job market.
