Under the patronage of Prof. Dr. Essam Elkordi, President of Alamein International University, and Prof. Dr. Hesham Gaber, Vice President for Academic Affairs, and under the supervision of Prof. Dr. Nashwa Shaker, Director of Business Programs, and Dr. Hebatallah Mostafa Soliman, Lecturer of Business Administration, the Faculty of Business at Alamein International University hosted Mr. Tarek El-Sobky, an expert in Information Technology and Digital Transformation.
During the session, Mr. El-Sobky shared his professional experience spanning more than 36 years in the fields of Information Technology and Communications. He previously served as IT and Communications Director at three companies within the petroleum sector, in addition to his role as a former consultant supporting national digital transformation initiatives at the Ministry of Manpower.
The event was held as part of the Human Resource Management and Organization Theory and Design courses. Mr. El-Sobky engaged with students on a range of key topics, including human resource management practices, the role of the project manager in achieving organizational success, as well as practical guidance on succeeding in job interviews, building effective teams, and managing organizations efficiently—thereby enhancing the applied dimension of learning and strengthening the link between academic study and labor market requirements.
