Alamein International University is looking for candidates to fulfill the open position of:
Equipment Technical Supervisor at the Faculty of Dentistry.
The Technical Supervisor is responsible for supervising the daily operation of the dental radiology units, ensuring high-quality diagnostic imaging, maintaining radiation safety standards, managing radiographic equipment, supervising technical staff, and ensuring compliance with institutional and regulatory requirements.
Job Information:
- Job Title: Equipment Technical Supervisor
- Job Location: Alamein International University, New Alamein City, Matrouh Governate
- Job Nature: Full-time.
- Working Hours: 9am-4pm, Sunday to Thursday
- Contract Duration: one year contract, renewable based on performance evaluation and university needs.
Duties and Responsibilities:
- Supervise the daily operations of the dental radiology unit and ensure efficient workflow.
- Oversee the acquisition of high-quality diagnostic images while adhering to radiation safety principles.
- Ensure compliance with radiation protection, infection control, and institutional policies.
- Supervise, train, and evaluate radiology technicians and support staff.
- Monitor the maintenance, calibration, and functionality of radiographic equipment, including panoramic and CBCT systems.
- Implement and oversee quality assurance and quality control programs to maintain imaging standards.
- Maintain accurate patient records, imaging documentation, and departmental reports.
- Coordinate patient scheduling and ensure timely, safe, and patient-centred radiology services.
- Support undergraduate and postgraduate clinical teaching by assisting with radiographic training and ensuring student compliance with safety protocols.
- Collaborate with faculty, clinicians, and administration to continuously improve radiology services and ensure compliance with accreditation and regulatory requirements.
Minimum Job Requirements:
- Bachelor’s degree in Science (Major Physics) from an Accredited University with minimum CGPA 3.0/4.0 or equivalent (Higher Grades are preferable).
- Teaching experience is a plus.
- Maximum age of the applicant should not exceed 40 years.
- Outstanding portfolio that includes other experiences that may contribute to AIU’s success is a plus.
- Excellent Communication and presentation skills.
- Ability to work in a team.
- Excellent English language command (writing and speaking).
- Applicant must hold Egyptian citizenship.
Assessment Method:
Short listed candidates will be invited for interview and computer and English exams.
