Director of Integrated Facilities Department

Job Information:

  • Job Title: Director of Integrated Facilities Department
  • Job Location: Alamein International University, New Alamein City, Matrouh Governate 
  • Job Nature: Full-time.
  • Working Hours: Weekly Shift Exchanges  
  • Contract Duration: one year contract, renewable based on performance evaluation and university needs.  

Job responsibilities:

  • Preparing the FM contracts scope and specifications includes the related KPI’s and overseeing contractors.
  • Planning and Scheduling of facilities operations and maintenance.
  • Scheduling renovations
  • Designing and planning facilities layout
  • Budgeting and estimating costs
  • Training staff on safety procedures
  • Ensuring compliance with regulations and laws
  • Managing the energy consumption monitoring system
  • Manage FM in-house team and outsourcing maintenance contracts
  • Reviewing the concept and design for any extensions of existing facilities.
  • Perform all other duties and responsibilities as assigned.

Job Requirements:

  • Degree in Engineering
  • Minimum relevant experience: 25 years, and minimum managerial experience: 10 years.
  • Project management experience
  • Experience in building mechanical and electrical services
  • Experience in Facilities Management.
  • Have a sound knowledge of cost controls and financial planning.
  • Knowledge of safety procedures and precautions and regulations.
  • Awareness of health and hygiene procedures.
  • Excellent command of English
  • Strong communication skills
  • Applicant must hold Egyptian citizenship.

Assessment Method:

Short listed candidates will be invited for interview and presentation.
