AIU Students Win Third Place in the Grand Egyptian Museum Hackathon – Third Edition

Under the patronage of Professor Essam Elkordi, President of Alamein International University, and Professor Hesham Gaber, Vice President for Education and Student Affairs, and in line with the university’s ongoing commitment to fostering innovation and encouraging active student participation in local and international platforms, the AIU student team secured third place in the Grand Egyptian Museum Hackathon – Third Edition, which featured the participation of 23 teams from various Egyptian universities.

This distinguished achievement comes with the support and guidance of Professor Safaa Ahmed Abdelsalam, Dean of the Faculty of Arts and Design. The student team competed over two days, December 9 and 10, following an intensive preparation and training phase on December 2 and 3, aimed at enhancing their creative skills and integrating academic knowledge with practical application.

The team stood out for its collaborative spirit, bringing together students from Alamein International University in partnership with peers from Alexandria University and Ain Shams University. This success was achieved under the supervision of Dr. Mohamed Osama, Lecturer in the Interior Design Program at the Faculty of Arts and Design, who trained and supported the team throughout all stages of the competition.
