AIU Participates in CardioAlex 2026 at the Bibliotheca Alexandrina

Alamein International University participated in the activities of CardioAlex 2026, which is being held this year in celebration of the conference’s Silver Jubilee and its 25th edition. The event took place at the Bibliotheca Alexandrina from June 9 to 12, 2026, in the presence of Prof. Abdelaziz Konsowa, Minister of Higher Education and Scientific Research, alongside a distinguished group of leading experts, scientists, and researchers from around the world.

CardioAlex is recognized as one of the most prominent cardiology conferences in Africa and the Middle East, serving as a leading scientific platform for discussing the latest advancements and innovations in cardiovascular medicine and healthcare.

The conference was attended by Prof. Essam Elkordi, President of Alamein International University, and Prof. Roshdy Zahran, Member of the Board of Trustees of Alamein International University, reflecting the University’s commitment to maintaining an active presence at international scientific forums that foster academic and research collaboration and facilitate the exchange of expertise.

As part of the University’s participation in this prestigious international scientific event, Prof. Khadija Ismail, Dean of the Faculty of Pharmacy at Alamein International University, served as a Chairperson during one of the conference sessions, highlighting the distinguished academic standing of the Faculty and its academic staff within specialized scientific communities.

In addition, a number of Pharmacy Internship Program students from Alamein International University participated in the conference activities as part of the University’s ongoing efforts to support its students and encourage their engagement in scientific and professional events that contribute to their personal and professional development. The students had the opportunity to explore the latest developments in healthcare and clinical pharmacy, while interacting with leading experts and specialists participating in the conference.
