Under the patronage of Prof. Essam El Kordi, President of Alamein International University (AIU), and as part of the University’s commitment to expanding its strategic partnerships with leading global companies to advance the educational process and keep pace with the latest technological developments, Prof. Hesham Gaber, Vice President for Academic Affairs, and Prof. Mustafa Elnainay, Dean of Computer Science and Engineering, welcomed a high-level delegation from Huawei.

The Huawei delegation included Mr. William Zheng, Managing Director of Huawei Egypt Business Environment Affairs; Mr. Dennis Yu, Director of Enterprise Networking Solution; Eng. Asmaa Serag Eldin, Managing Director of Huawei ICT Academy; Eng. Mohamed Adel, Education Sales Manager; and Eng. Ahmed Saad, Senior Solution Manager.

The meeting was attended by Dr. Mohamed Elkhouly Associate Professor at the Faculty of Computer Science and Engineering and Head of Training, and Dr. Mohamed Saleh, Director of Infrastructure at the University.

During the meeting, both sides discussed opportunities to strengthen collaboration across a range of academic and technological fields. Discussions focused on establishing specialized training programs for AIU students to enhance their technical competencies, enrich their practical experience, and equip them with the skills required to meet the evolving demands of the global job market in line with international standards.

The meeting also explored opportunities to collaborate on upgrading the University’s technological infrastructure by leveraging Huawei’s advanced digital solutions and smart technologies. These efforts aim to support AIU’s digital transformation initiatives, foster a smart learning environment, and further enhance the quality of the educational and research services provided to its students.
