AIU Congratulates Graduate Suzan Essam El-Naggar on Her Distinguished Participation in the International Moot Court Competition on Freedom of Expression at the University of Oxford

Professor Dr. Essam Elkordi, President of Alamein International University, Professor Dr. Hesham Gaber, Vice President for Academic Affairs, the deans, program directors, faculty members, teaching assistants, administrative staff, and all members of the university community extend their sincere congratulations to graduate Suzan Essam El-Naggar, graduate of the International Legal Studies Program, Class of 2024, for her distinguished participation as part of the team of the Doha Institute for Graduate Studies in the International Moot Court Competition on Freedom of Expression at the University of Oxford.

The graduate represented the Arab Republic of Egypt in oral pleadings before three international trials during the final round, which included 30 teams representing 32 countries, after qualifying through the regional rounds for the Middle East and North Africa region.

The case addressed several fundamental issues related to the limits of freedom of expression, access to information, national security, privacy protection, and journalistic sources.
